1. Why was my transaction rejected?
Transactions can be rejected for several reasons, such as incorrect card details, expired cards, or system issues.
However, one of the main reasons is insufficient funds—meaning your account does not have enough money to cover the payment at the time of the transaction.
2. What does “insufficient funds” mean?
“Insufficient funds” means the amount of money available in your account is less than the transaction amount. For example:
- If you try to pay $50 but only have $30 in your account, the payment will be declined.
- Sometimes pending payments or holds (like hotel bookings or subscriptions) reduce your available balance, even if your account balance looks higher.
3. How can I fix this?
Follow these steps:
-
Check your account balance in the app or with your bank.
-
Add enough funds to cover the payment amount.
-
Wait for pending transactions (if any) to clear so you know your true available balance.
-
Retry the transaction once you’re sure you have sufficient funds.
- If the issue continues, try an alternative payment method.
